Landscape Partnership

Over the last couple of years a number of groups with a common interest in caring for the landscape have been working together and have developed a bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund to implement the proposed “Stroud Valleys Landscape Heritage Project.”

The objective of the Project is:
To tell the story of the Stroud Valleys Landscape.

The partnership aim to do this by:
• increasing access to and understanding of the built, cultural and natural heritage of the Stroud Valleys landscape
• increasing social, learning, training, leisure and cultural opportunities for local people through access to the landscape heritage
• increasing the opportunities for economic regeneration that contributes to the conservation and sustainable management of this landscape heritage.<more>
